Lake Tahoe Craft Classes

Crystal was fabulous! She was well educated in the scents, showed us how to understand the way the scents work with each other, and helped us fine-tune our scents to perfection. You can tell the experience was created to feel special down to the packaging. The class was well organized with the perfume bottles beautifully displayed. The room was lit with candles which made this a very relaxing activity for our girls day. Each person had their own set of scents to work with that were also beautifully displayed. The class started and ended on time and was the perfect amount of time to create our perfumes. I would definitely recommend this activity for anyone that wants a relaxing activity that comes with a unique souvenir. Every one should have their own signature scent and Crystal will help you find it!

My husband & I tried the candle workshop & had a great time! Very informative, relaxing, & fun! In our session it was just the two of us, which was great for learning one-on-one. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone interested in learning candle-making, or even just looking for a peaceful weekend experience.

My sister, friend and I had a wonderful time. Everything was thoroughly explained and she made sure we loved our perfume scent. The studio was small and intimate. We will definitely be back again!!

I had the most wonderful afternoon hanging with my friends and learning all about the plants of Sierra Nevada. And we made our own incense. It was so fun. Sarah the owner of Hippie Juice Wellness is a vast of information. And you can tell this is something she truly loves and loves sharing with others. Book a class! It’s so fun and the incense is all natural and smells wonderful.

I had such a wonderful time learning how to make natural incense. Sara was incredibly knowledgeable about local plants and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. it was peaceful, hands on, and unlike anything I’ve done before in Tahoe. I left with beautiful hand made incense and a deeper appreciation for the plants around me. I highly recommend this experience!

We had such a wonderful time at the perfume and cologne mixology class! It was such a fun and unique experience to learn about different fragrance notes and get creative with creating our own scent.Our instructor, Krystal, was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and made the entire experience enjoyable and easy to follow. She did a great job guiding us through the process while still giving us the freedom to experiment and make something personal.We loved the hands-on experience and left with a fragrance we created ourselves, along with some great memories. We would definitely recommend this class to anyone looking for something fun, creative, and different. Thank you, Krystal, for making the experience so special!

We have never done a scent mixology class before but were intrigued when we saw the workshop on Cool Lake Tahoe. We enjoy fragrances and have taken a recent interest in this world. The workshop was so fun. We all had a blast. Krystal is wonderful - very knowledgeable, informative, and clearly passionate about fragrance. She made the experience all the better. The workshop was small and intimate which is nice; it also allows her ample time to help guide you if need be. The space is warm and welcoming with a great, relaxing vibe. It was a great experience in every way, and we are so glad we did it. We will be sure to repeat this workshop everytime we vacation in Tahoe.

We had an amazing time with Sara. Her house and workspace was so inviting and inspiring. She explained how she curated the pine and distilled the herbs for aromatics. So cool! We learned a lot, so feel there is so much more to learn from her-i’d definitely recommend this class and any other one she teaches .

The candle-making workshop itself is warm, intimate, and wonderfully hands-on. Guiding each other through custom, mountain-inspired scent blends and pouring your own keepsake candles makes for a uniquely creative and personal shared experience. To top off an already unforgettable evening, nature gave us a surprise bonus: right as we headed out, we caught a glimpse of an adorable baby bear peeking around the tree as if to wish us a great rest of the night. Between the breathtaking alpine surroundings, the cozy candle studio, and a surprise wildlife sighting, it was a 10/10 date night. We left with amazing memories and custom candles to match! This class was fun and educational as we learned the steps to making beautiful candles Krystal was our patient teacher answered all my questions I recommend taking her class It will be fun for all to see what candle masterpiece I will make when I return. Thank you so much Krystal

It was an excellent experience. We learned a lot about candle making. It was a fun time with my daughters.

I traveled with 4 older kids ranging from 16 to 20 yr old. We went in the small building and we were welcomed with so much warmth and kind people. The space for the candle making was in the back. It was cozy but not tiny. We had enough room to move around and talk to eachother. Krystal was amazing. Friendly and patient with 5 people who did not know what we were doing. She explained each step in detail and helped everyone individually to make sure we are taking the right steps. The kids thoroughly enjoyed picking out their own scents and being able to make their own scents. We also got to mix colors and make out own glowy glittery colors. We loved every step of making our own personalized candles. also, we got surprise visit from Krystal's dog Callie. Giant German shepherd who was so sweet ans gentle and got to pet them. This location is also very pet friendly, our little golden retriever, Bailey got to sit inside with us in the warmth. Krystal even brought her own personal heater to keep all of us warm and cozy. She was so patient, I think her and partner stayed late with us to wait for our candles to cool down and we even had time to take a group photo with finished products. We enjoyed the whole experience very much and my daughter really wants to try the soap making class they also offer. I would 1000% recommend this experience while in Tahoe to take home a scent of Tahoe home!
