The family staff (Jessie and Phil) are super friendly and were quick to set us up and get us going with map, lock and optional helmets on traditional 21-speed bicylces. This is a great location for jumping on the National Forest Bike Trail. We rode through the pines on the paved path, passing Tahoe’s popular beaches including Pope, Camp Richardson and the Tallac historic site. You'll want to get off your bikes to explore the century-old family mansions and the boathouses where concerts and plays are now staged. We had time to take a short swim on a small beach near the boathouses -- bring a towel and a swimsuit on your ride. Our bikes were easy to ride but I did have some difficulty shifting between the front gears. That turned out to not be much of a problem as I could stay in the front chain with its seven gears, since the forest trail is super easy and mostly flat.

It was a fun experience but not for beginners in my opinion. If you haven’t been dirt biking before I wouldn’t choose this to be your first time. But for those that have experience off-road riding this is a thrill for you for sure. Our guide Ryan was very informative and took the time to explain everything thoroughly to us. We were even treated by watching some very experienced riders jumping the track course and some four wheel vehicles climbing the rock. Our tour was about 2hrs & 15 minutes long and I don’t think my body could’ve taken any more jolting around. This is coming from a 58 your old woman, and my husband being 53 felt the same way as me at the end of our ride. It was a great experience and glad to have been able to check it off our bucket list. It brought back memories of when I use to do this about 40 yrs ago.

We enjoyed it a lot. We had so much fun riding the e bikes along the East Shore Trail. We will definitely do it next time visiting Lake Tahoe. It’s totally worth it.

Before the ride, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but the experience ended up being even better than I imagined. Our guide, Adrian, was patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to teach us how to use the pedal-assist bikes to our advantage and shared interesting facts and made fun stops along the way.It was such a fun and memorable day. That said, after all those miles, I was definitely thankful I had scheduled massages for the next day!

My 18 year-old son and I were looking for an adventure so we decided to go E dirt bike riding. Our guy Jeff was awesome, we were there with another couple who were less than adventurous, but Jeff let my son and I “ off leash” and have some adventures of our own. Jeff is also great as a videographer and photographer and we got some great pictures. Thanks so much, Jeff.And Michelle, the one who organized the adventure, she was really helpful and helping me plan the rest of my time out in Lake Tahoe with my son.I would highly recommend Tahoe Outdoor Adventures!

Highlight of our trip! The bikes have a lot of torque and carried me (280 pounds) right up the hills. The trails hit the balance of safety and challenge. The views are unique and would require a day’s hike without the bikes. If you have any inclination, do not miss it!

We had a great time on the tour. One member of our party hadn't ridden a bike in quite a while and was unsteady on it. Our guide worked with them to get them comfortable on the bike before we left and they had a great time on the tour.

Parked at the Hyatt Regency and got a parking voucher (so parking is free). eBikes were in great shape and easy to use. Had a rack on the back for my backpack and bike locks in the front handlebar pouch. We arrived around 9:30AM and brought the bikes back around 4 - loved every minute of it! We first rode the bike path (Tahoe East Shore Trail) down to Sands Beach. Absolutely beautiful views!! Paid $2/person to ride our bikes into the beach area just to check it out. Rode back up to the Hyatt area and around North Lake Tahoe neighborhoods checking out the beautiful area and homes. Also rode the serene bike path that took us by Billionaires' row (WOW homes!!). We then decided to ride back down to Sands Beach (showed my receipt so we didn't have to repay the $2/person). We locked our bikes up at the bike rack near the bar/restaurant in Sands Beach, got a couple of drinks, and just hung out at the beach for a bit. There was a place to rent SUPS and kayaks further down the path from the bar/restaurant, but the line to rent was long so we chose to skip. We then rode back up to the Hyatt to return the bikes. It was our favorite day and activity of the trip - looking forward to bringing our teenagers next time!
