Had the best time on my sunset hike with Alex. The hike itself wasn't too difficult, so it felt relaxed and enjoyable the whole way. Alex took us to this beautiful hidden spot we would have never found our own and the views from there were just so pretty as the sun went down. Highly recommend!

This is a great audio tour to orient you to the lake. It covers all the most popular local spots and vista points. We did the lake loop on our 1st day at a Lake Tahoe so that we could better plan our remaining days I highly recommend this self-guided tour.

Our experience started with a warm welcome from Kate and Tristan and then we hopped in, "The Beast," and headed up to the trailhead. Our experience started with an intro to the Via Ferrata system and we spent the next hour climbing up the face of the mountain. It wasn't too challenging but got pretty hot by 9am so we were happy to have reserved the 8am block. The views were amazing and it was really awesome to have the opportunity to rock climb without the technical knowledge and gear. Tristan made the morning very fun and we felt save with him as our guide. 10-10 experience!

This tour was wonderful—informative, engaging, and truly memorable. Matt made everything easy to understand for both me and my 13-year-old son, and he was incredibly patient while answering all of our questions. The scenery was beautiful, and the walk itself was a relaxing trek through the forest where we identified different tree species, local fauna, and even learned how to spot clues that explain why some trees may have died. It really opened our eyes to how much is happening around us in nature that we often overlook. The wild-life is a plus! We were lucky to see a hawk sitting up in the trees watching us as we passed by.The log-splitting demonstration was especially interesting. I had never split logs before, so learning the technique and actually getting to try it myself was a fun, hands-on experience. My son absolutely loved this part.Ending the experience by cozying up around a fire with s’mores and hot cocoa felt less like a tour and more like spending time with friends. Matt is exactly the kind of friendly local you hope to meet—knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what he does.I highly recommend booking this experience for families, couples, or friend groups. It’s not only educational and rooted in caring for nature, but also personal, memorable, and incredibly enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful time!

I had a wonderful experience, I booked this arborist experience during December 2025 and honestly didn’t know what to expect in winter, but it ended up being one of the best outdoor activities I’ve done all year. The Matthew and team provided all the gear we needed, explained everything clearly, and made sure we were comfortable despite the chilly weather.The session started with a safety briefing and a fascinating introduction to tree care, different species, and how arborists keep trees healthy, especially during the colder months. I had no idea how much work goes into winter preparation for trees—it was genuinely interesting.Matthew was patient and clearly experienced, with regards to any questions especially pertaining to trees in the Tahoe basin.What really stood out was how passionate the team were. They clearly love what they do, and their enthusiasm makes the whole experience feel special.Even in December, this was amazing and absolutely worth doing. I’d recommend dressing warm and bringing layers, but don’t let the season put you off!

The tour was fun and pointed out a lot of landmarks and shared stories that we hadn’t heard despite being in Tahoe for two days already. Would definitely recommend as an alternative to a formal tour!

Do. It. Wonderful guides, awe-inspiring views from hidden vistas, exceptional communication with them through the booking process, truly authentic and worth every penny. This is a great activity for families with teenagers. We have been on several hikes as a family of 5, but we’ve never done anything like this before. Shout out to Megan, our fearless and fun leader!

We had such an amazing experience on our guided family hike with Jeff! What made this hike so special was that it wasn’t your typical, crowded hiking trail—it wasn’t even a named trail—and we were the only ones out there. It felt like we were discovering a hidden gem all to ourselves. The hike was definitely challenging, but Jeff was fantastic about taking plenty of breaks along the way. Those breaks actually became one of the best parts because Jeff used the time to teach us about the plants, rocks, and wildlife we were seeing. We learned so much and really got to appreciate the landscape in a whole new way.The highlight was reaching the summit, where we got to record our names in the registry. And then came the BIG bonus—we got to see the locations where scenes from Top Gun: Maverick were filmed. Soooo cool! 🎬🏔️Jeff was knowledgeable, patient, and made the experience fun for the whole family. We would absolutely recommend this hike to anyone looking for something unique, adventurous, and way more memorable than a typical trail hike!

The hike with Trent was nothing short of amazing! We felt really good about his knowledge of the area and felt very comfortable and safe with him on the trail. The swim in the lake at a secluded spot was phenomenal!

Enjoyed the Lake Tahoe lake excursion very much. Nevada did a great job! I would definitely recommend.
