We took a flight with Lake Tahoe Balloons on June 17, and it was truly an unforgettable experience!From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. Be prepared to call about an hour before arrival to confirm that weather conditions are suitable for the flight.Upon arrival, we appreciated having access to restroom facilities at the pier before boarding. I highly recommend using them beforehand, as the restroom facilities on the boat are much more limited. The team also provided water, coffee, hot chocolate, packaged pastries, and blankets for anyone who needed them.One of the highlights was watching the crew prepare and inflate the balloon. It was fascinating to see everything come together before takeoff. Our group was divided into two flights, and each group enjoyed approximately 45 minutes to an hour in the air.The flight itself was amazing. We reached an incredible height above Lake Tahoe, yet the ride was so smooth that you hardly notice when you’re ascending or descending. The views were breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever experienced.Our pilot was fantastic, and the boat captain was equally impressive. Watching him skillfully maneuver the boat and “catch” the balloon at the end of the flight was incredible.This was a once-in-a-lifetime excursion and a memory we will cherish forever. If you’re considering Lake Tahoe Balloons, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it!

Our pilot was personable and offered a wonderful history of Lake Tahoe. It was our first visit to Lake Tahoe and this was the first thing we did to get a literal birds eye view of the landscape.

I highly recommend booking this adventure with Lake Tahoe Balloons. The staff went out of their way to make us feel safe and to help us get the perfect pictures of our adventure. Our pilot Sheldon truly loves ballooning and sharing information about ballooning with his guests while listening to a fantastic playlist. This is a must do when visiting Lake Tahoe.

You must try it. It will give you another spectacular experience. The crew was very responsive and friendly.

Micah, the pilot, was very courteous, accommodating due to weather issues but a great experience. Checkin was simple, bathroooms were available.

It was a bummer my husband couldn't go due to the weight restrictions, but my son and I still went due to the ride not being refundable. My 1.5yr old loved being in the helicopter and the pilot was super nice!

This was an outstanding experience! Our guide, Micah, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The length of the tour is the perfect amount of time. The views are breaktaking-highly recommend!
