Lake Tahoe Bike Rentals

If you’re riding the East Shore Trail, do yourself a favour and rent from Vista Trail Bikes. The manager and staff were super helpful from start to finish, and the e‑bikes were in excellent condition — smooth, powerful, and perfect for the trail.They gave us great local tips too, which made the ride even better.I’m also officially forgiving the manager for getting my surname wrong and calling me a Groper. To be fair, he said it with confidence — and we all had a good laugh.Highly recommended. Great people, great bikes, great day.

This was the absolute highlight of my trip to Tahoe! The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved stopping to take pictures of the turquoise/blue water that you can see right through. The neighborhood we rode through was gorgeous as well! Be careful with turns on the bike- slow down! I’d also make sure you’re comfortable dinging the bell to alert other pedestrians of you passing. I was a little trepidatious about booking this because I hadn’t ridden a standard bike for awhile, but I’m SO glad I did! We had a blast!!!

The family staff (Jessie and Phil) are super friendly and were quick to set us up and get us going with map, lock and optional helmets on traditional 21-speed bicylces. This is a great location for jumping on the National Forest Bike Trail. We rode through the pines on the paved path, passing Tahoe’s popular beaches including Pope, Camp Richardson and the Tallac historic site. You'll want to get off your bikes to explore the century-old family mansions and the boathouses where concerts and plays are now staged. We had time to take a short swim on a small beach near the boathouses -- bring a towel and a swimsuit on your ride. Our bikes were easy to ride but I did have some difficulty shifting between the front gears. That turned out to not be much of a problem as I could stay in the front chain with its seven gears, since the forest trail is super easy and mostly flat.

The check in process was very easy and the bikes were ready when we showed up. The staff is very friendly and informative. The bikes were easy to use.

Great views and wonderful bike path. Finding the perfect water place part way through the ride made it the best adventure.

This was honestly one of my favorite parts of our trip! We rented e-bikes and were given a map with recommendations on where to ride, which made everything super easy.The views along the way were incredible, especially riding over the bike bridges and paths alongside the lake. The e-bikes were easy to use and made the entire ride feel relaxed and enjoyable—even going up hills!We rode to the beach, stopped for some ice cream, walked around for a bit, and then rode back. It was such a fun way to explore the area and take in the scenery without feeling rushed.Check-in and return were both really easy, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. They even provided us with water for the ride, which was a nice touch.100% recommend! I would absolutely do this again.

Take the time to get your feet wet:) We walked the last beach that's 2 dollars to enter and seen fish in the clear water at lake Tahoe!

What a fun way to enjoy the incredible weather and spectacular views. We were impressed that Tahoe had a trail like this, and we wouldn’t have wanted to explore it any other way. We stopped at a handful of the coves and viewpoints and wandered sand harbor — which we weren’t able to access by car earlier that day because of crowds. The staff was also really friendly and helpful. This was our first time to Tahoe and we considered this a highlight of our trip. We absolutely recommend it.

Never having ridden an e-bike, we were a little nervous. No need! The instructions were clear and the bikes easy to operate. The scenery was amazing and the paved trail wide, although it was busy with both pedestrians and bikers. For the most part, the path was shared well. The ability to get up a couple of steep hills with the e-bike was wonderful! Highly recommend this experience.

I want to start off with this: I thought I was be scammed because it was such a good deal! However when we got to this business it was absolutely legit, professional, clean and I had no complaints. From the beginning the gentleman helping was clear and super fast to help. He explained everything clearly. We ended up upgrading our bikes to e bikes (highly recommended) for the simple fact that the city’s name explains it all “incline village” we initially got my daughter a regular bike because she was a bit intimidated with the e-bike. But after our first incline. She quickly realized the regular bike was a no go. In this cake I rode the regular bike all the way back to upgrade hers to the e-bike and they were super flexible and kind. After all of that I have to say this was absolutely worth every penny. I highly highly recommend for your next trip. Might I mention they also provide you with a map lock helmet and also I little pouch for your phone, glasses or whatever… the views were absolutely stunning. And this map told you where to stop along the way. It was great. Oh one last thing this is in north Tahoe which is about 30 min from south Tahoe where we were staying but it’s worth it and you also get to see the north side.
