Top things to do in Lake Tahoe in Summer (Updated September 2026)

We enjoyed the mix of local history along with the walking tour of international flavors that the restaurants provided. Brian was engaging and made it easy for us to connect with the other travelers in the group. Have a nice day. My friend who is not a "foodie" was trying some flavors and dishes for the first time and Brian made her feel comfortable. I would recommend this experience and recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and dressing in layers.

Food was wonderful. There is some walking involved, so wear comfy shoes. Some of the food may be spicy, so be prepared. Everything was good and enjoyed the evening!

Great scenery. The audio narration was hard to hear on the top deck. Restrooms were clean. We didn't try it, but the food service looked good. Would recommend to anyone coming in the summer. After Labor Day there is only one sailing per day.

Very peaceful and pleasant way to cruise the lake, have a great dinner and share the experience with friends and family.

Very friendly staff and stunning views from the lake! Paddle boat was very nice. Get there early if you want best seats on promenade deck. Lots of other seating throughout the boat though.

It was a really great experience! Jason was great! I learned a lot about the lake, it was a clear night so the stars were really visible, and we got to see some cool animals! (Beavers, muskrats, and bats) would definitely recommend!

Had a really good time and dinner. Especially enjoyed the after-dinner cruise around the bay and the history attached to the area. The dining area was quite loud before dinner was served making it difficult to hear announcements over the PA system. The wait staff was on point. Once orders were taken it was a short while before they started serving and the food came out hot and very quickly considering the number of people who were served,

Marcus is incredibly knowledgeable! It was cool to learn the history of Reno. He was probably the best tour guide I’ve come across.

It is a fun experience and a great way to see Lake Tahoe. I would highly recommend it. The pilot was very good and the ride was very smooth.

If you’re in Tahoe, this is a must do! Unbelievable blue waters. Cole was an amazing guide, very chill.

My husband invited me to go to the show for our anniversary – 42 years! But I told him I don’t like magic shows He reassured me that it would be good because it was comedy. I cannot believe how good the show was and how special Alex is. I feel so fortunate to be able to say that this was the best magic show I’ve ever seen. He’s such a great entertainer with a huge heart. Best of all his magic is incredible his humor delightful and he really knows how to put on a great show. Thank you so much, Alex!

It was really easy to find the venue and all of the staff was very nice and helpful. The show itself was so fun and interactive. The magician made sure to keep the crowd laughing and ensured children were able to participate. He had so much patience with the young kids and made sure to let us know that any jokes towards the crowd/audience were strictly out of fun and entertainment to keep the audience engaged. Unfortunately you only get one drink in the venue at the beginning so make sure to grab your drinks before entering. 10/10 would recommend again

This was a must do activity for us during our time around Lake Tahoe. The views were breathtaking and we learned so much about the lake and this area. Our guide was excellent. We had just 6 people on the tour so it was a nice small group.The breeze was quite strong that morning and it was a physically challenging 3 hours - we were both beat - and we are experienced kayakers. Even after we turned around we didn't really have a tail wind. It might have been easier if we'd rented a tandem kayak.We highly recommend this outing - the sights are fantastic and we found it worth it to have a guide take us out and share wonderful info with us. He didn't take any pics on the outing but we got a few of our own. We were also able to leave a bag at the tent during the outing which was helpful!

Captain Chad was great. He is very knowledgeable & the boat was super nice. Looking forward to going out next summer.
