This is a great way for beginners to get out on the snow and experience the winter wonderland out in nature. Take some bird seeds and see how many birds come and land on your hands. Hike up to the look out and get an amazing view of the lake on a clear day. Soak up the sun on a bluebird powder day or catch snowflakes on your tongue when it's snowy.
